The Stetson House, near Hanover Town Hall is owned by the town and is open for public tours under the direction of the town-appointed Overseers. A citizen group, Friends of Stetson House, Inc. and others aid in the preservation and upkeep of the property.

The Walnut Hill Garden Club maintains a friendship with the Stetson House Committees. WHGC aids with the Herb Garden and The Holiday Open House along with many other Hanover organizations. Here are a few pictures of our involvement there.
Maureen Poole Karen Pritchard The Stetson House Christmas Committee is headed by Pam Ferguson with about 17 members helping her with this enormous project every year. They decorate at least one room for the Holiday Festivities, often more. Stetson House photos courtesy of K. B. Pritchard. The Stetson House Garden is headed by Judy Grecco, a longtime volunteer to the Stetson House. She organized the maintenance of the herb garden at this historic home in cooperation with the Hanover Garden Club. This is a large project which not only involves both Garden Clubs of Hanover but also the "Friends of the Stetson House".
