Secret Garden

These gardens are a showcase of 30 years of planning and planting. The front entrance is a natural preserve with hundreds of lady slippers carefully protected.

A typical "builder's lot" of low and uneven acreage, this gardener has slowly built up the land and developed the gardens along the way. Her eye for color is evident in the mass plantings of perennials that are bordered by rock walls, brick and cobbled paths.

The gardens range from sunny to woodland and are dotted with many varieties of trees and shrubs. An in ground pool in a patio of 10,000 bricks centers the private yard. The energy of this gardener is unmatched in any age group!

A treat to behold, this garden is truly a labor of love.    D.G.
