7:45 PM    Program begins, at the Phoenix Lodge. Walter and Jean Chason present "FOR THE LOVE OF BIRDS". Enjoy your own backyard even more than you do now. You can attract more birds with proper housing and feeders that are attractive and easy to clean. As you know more birds - less bugs- fewer insecticides. There  will be  birdhouses and feeders for sale that are made by our guests. Start your holiday shopping early - 10% of proceeds benefits WHGC. 

SIGN UP SHEETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THIS MEETING FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  1. PRESIDENTS' NIGHT REFRESHMENTS- Goodies to bring to our November 5th meeting.
  2. DECEMBER HOLIDAY WORKSHOP- Ideas/suggestions for projects are welcome so share them with us. We will  be offering Boxwood Trees, Mantel and Center Pieces, a variation of the "Kissing Ball"
  3. JOHN CURTIS LIBRARY -WEEDING- If you are interested in weeding the beds prior to the Ribbon Cutting event of our new library scheduled for October 20th, sign up at October's meeting.

OCTOBER BOARD MEETING, Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 PM at the Phoenix  Lodge.

NOVEMBER MEETING Tuesday, November 5th at 7:30 PM at CUSHING HALL IN NORWELL CENTER, across from the State Police Barracks.

bullet PRESIDENTS' NIGHT- This is a gala evening to welcome presidents from all the South Shore District Garden Clubs. Deb Swanson from the County Extension Service will present a program on the "New Perennials"

YEARBOOKS    You should have your yearbooks in hand by now and beautiful they are - if there are any questions or corrections, please contact Sandra Woodward at 4734.

 

INKJET CARTRIDGE RECYCLE PROGRAM     This program is still in effect and has generated $10.00 to WHGC, thanks for your participation. Envelopes are available at monthly meetings.

 

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE    As a reminder when serving on the hospitality committee for a month, it is the Captain's responsibility to notify the Chairperson of any changes on their month's  committee. The Hospitality Chairperson will make a note of the  switch for future meeting coordination.
