HOSPITALITY - A Reminder about serving on Hospitality. . . we have a number of new members and I thought it was a good time to remind everyone that each club member is responsible for serving once during the club year as a member of the hospitality committee for a monthly meeting. When it is your month, it is your responsibility to actively participate by contributing refreshments and assisting the Captain and other committee members for the month setting up and cleaning up after the meeting. If you are unable to participate actively at the meeting assigned to you, it is your responsibility to switch places with another club member and to notify your Captain of the name of your replacement. It is the Captain’s responsibility to notify the Hospitality Chairperson of any changes on their month’s committee. The Hospitality Chairperson will make a note of the switch for future meeting coordination. --- Thank you, Louise S ALSO, our club has a number of outstanding tablecloths that are used for President’s night - those of you who have any tablecloths in your possession (please check those closets too!), please bring them to the October 2nd meeting or drop them off at Ava R. The Mayflower - As an option to our membership, there will be a sign up sheet
available at the October 2nd meeting for members interested in receiving the
Mayflower. Please note, a copy for club meetings will always be available to
review. If you cannot attend October’s meeting, please contact Elaine M
directly by October 15th to be included on this list. |
