HANOVER HOLIDAYS HOUSE TOUR Congratulations to one and all for a terrific event! The houses (and Barn) all looked great thanks to the
considerable energy and creativity of all involved. The designers and their teams collaborated and pooled all their treasures to make each venue shine for their particular ‘Holiday’. We had guests from the Easton, Hingham, Norwell, Hanover and Plymouth garden clubs. Many ticket holders were taking notes and asking design questions as they viewed flower arrangements, plants and interior house features. Compliments and kudos flowed from all ticket holders. We hope everyone had an
opportunity to learn a few design tricks and that veteran and new members had a chance to become acquainted while working alongside each other.
COMMUNITY GARDENS Linda Kalkulski is spearheading a committee to work on developing a community garden in Hanover. She envisions a designated garden area where different age groups will work together learning about
gardening methods, flower growing and food cultivation. The participants would decide the specific plants to be grown. Speakers are available to give talks on the subject. Below is a web site for more information: American Community Gardening Association. http://www.communitygarden.org/learn/starting-a-community-garden.php
