Note: 6:30 at the Phoenix Lodge. This is one hour earlier than usual.
Every member is required to bring an appetizer, main dish, side dish or salad. The hostess committee will provide desserts and non alcoholic beverages. A sign up list was provided at the last meeting, so if you are unable to remember what you signed up for, please contact Captain Jennifer Clapp. If you are bringing a dish not previously featured in the cookbook, please bring a copy of the recipe to share with members. Your participation will guarantee a delicious and varied menu for all. After all the holiday frenzy, this is the night to enjoy a comfortable evening with friends. The program will feature a ‘live’ pruning demon-stration by Suzanne Mahler, a primer on com-posting by Brigid McCue and a mini ‘how to’ segment on clipper maintenance by Suzanne Mahoney. Reminder: Please remember to bring a non-perishable food item for the Hanover Food Pantry.

RECYCLING – Message from Joyce Kleinrath. Walnut Hill Garden Club Encourages Recycling in 2008.
Start the year right … the green way! If Santa brought new phones, recycle the old phones and accessories with the Walnut Hill Garden Club. Members can bring their old cell phones or cartridges to our meeting next Tuesday. Collection sites are also located at Hanover Town Hall (lower level) and the Hanover Transfer Station. While you are recycling, leave your empty inkjet cartridges and large toner cartridges as well. Note: There will be a meeting of the Recycling Committee at Joyce’s home on January 17th.
