Mugsie Sarson invited club members to her summer home in Marion to enjoy the afternoon with a stroll through the village area. The many homes we saw were expertly planted and trimmed. We encountered some plant material we were unfamiliar with. Rose gardens were exquisite. The day was a pleasant surprise to the many who joined in this trip. June 2003
This roses on the right deserves close inspection. The color changes with age. If you lift a red petal you see yellow below. A single petal is dual colored, depending on which part is in the sun. Hard to describe. |
