We already know about· Pg 78 Cranberry Coffee Cake: add to ingredients- 3 cups flour· Pg 143 Chicken Cordon Bleu: add to ingredients- 3 (1 oz.) slices ham· Pg 213 Lu’s Brownies- corn oil, not cornmeal· Pg 270 Mrs. Smith’s Cookies- 2 cups flour, NOT ½ cup· Pg 302 Maui Mist Punch- 1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade, not 1/2 cup lemon juice, and 1 pkg. Remember to charge your battery and bring an extra too. GIPSY TIP: Blur, Swirl, & and Zoom Those Christmas Lights Tired of the same old Christmas tree photos? Try something new by setting your camera to a slower shutter speed - anywhere from 1/2 second to 2 or 4 full seconds or put it on "landscape mode." Then purposefully move the camera while taking the picture. The result: A colorful & abstract blur of Christmas lights. WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS GIPSY GROUP YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO GO TO ANY MEETINGS. WE NEED A LIST OF INTERESTED MEMBERS TO USE FOR THE GROUP MAILING DATABASE. PLEASE SIGN-UP WITH ROSEMARY SAMPSON WITH YOUR NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, TELEPHONE. PICTURES HAVE BEEN POSTED ON WEBSITE- www.walnuthillma.com click on January in Calendar section. The notification will go out by the Juniors Chair, Helen Mischler. It will also go out to all members via email for anyone not yet signed up for Juniors. Get the skates out to be ready for short notice. Anyone with extra skates can make them available for others to borrow. Reply to Helen Mishler with sizes available to loan. Chairpersons’ Information Available If you are a committee chair and do not have the guideline form please contact Sandra Woodward. ITEMS NEEDED- PLEASE HELP Baskets needed Glenda Larson needs donations of your left over baskets for their May basket projects. She would especially appreciate baskets 10-12” across and about 4” deep, with liners. Glenda will take liners separately to match with baskets without liners. Please check your garage and basement to see if you can donate anything. This happens every year so always save them for Garden Therapy. They don’t have to be perfect, we can use “Glossy Woodtone Creative Spray” to perk them up and make them look new again. Also, the “teapot” containers used at the banquet could be recycled for the Junior Gardeners. If you won one of the centerpieces and no longer want the container please donate it. Plant Markers for sale Suzanne Mahler still has plant stakes. Contact Suzanne directly. Inkjet cartridges, old cell phones, toner cartridges.WHGC has special bar coded envelopes and boxes to send out used cartridges and cell phones to be recycled properly. We receive funds for this at the same time as we save the environment. These are displayed with our fundraising items. Take as many as you want, pass them to your friends and co-workers.
