prides itself on its continued efforts involving the environment.
This is covered in both the General Club and in the Junior Division. After
earning this award we donated the very
expensive "Ground Flow Model" to the Hanover
Public School Department for use at all levels. It is currently used most
at the Middle School level.
A EDUCATIONAL
EXPERIENCE:
The Ground Water Flow Model is an advanced tool used in Advanced Graduate
level classes to teach environmental concerns. We used it as a hands on
teaching tool to make children aware of the dangers of pollution.
CONSERVATION
PLEDGE: "I give my pledge as an American to save and faithfully to defend
from waste the natural resources of my country; its soil and minerals; its
forests, water and wildlife."
